We’re calling it black tie optional, which means we’d love for you to get dressed up with us! Floor-length dresses, stylish evening gowns, tuxedos, and dark suits are all welcome and encouraged. Think timeless, elegant, and celebration-ready —and, of course, something in which you are comfortable dancing the night away! We can’t wait to see you looking your best as we toast to this next chapter.

Plenty. There is ample parking for anyone that would like to drive to the event. Just please drive responsibly! As noted on our travel page, we are providing transportation to/from the venue from the Residence Inn in Fishkill, and there should be ride-sharing services available that evening, as well.

We encourage folks to arrive 30 minutes prior (around 4:30 pm) to grab a pre-ceremony libation, mingle with other guests, and take in the stunning surroundings.

We know many of you are coming from out-of-town, and that some of you may be making a mini weekend vacation out of it...so why not start the party a day early? While we’re big fans of a good post-event nightcap and debrief (the latter being a treasured Garriepy family tradition), please know that the after-party is entirely OPTIONAL. However, for those still energized and ready to keep the celebration going, we'll see you there!

While plans are already in place for the Father-of-the-Bride (phew!), we ask that you make arrangements for your children as we anticipate our wedding to be an adults-only evening. We hope this can be a fun opportunity for you to enjoy a night out to both relax and celebrate with us—carefree and kids-free!

Absolutely not. We are both huge food-lovers and adventurous eaters (well, one of us, at least...), and we will have SO MUCH amazing food for you to sample and nosh on at our celebration. Believe us, you will leave our wedding with both full hearts AND full bellies!
